Position: System Administrator

Main Responsibilities:

•  Hardware support for 700+ Sun and Fujitsu Server and local storage box
•  Operating system support for 500+ Sun Solaris (SunOS5.8,9,10)
•  High availability solutions Sun Cluster (3.1,3.2) and Veritas Cluster (4.x, 5.x)
•  Using HP OVO for system monitoring
•  Running security reports on the systems and organize hardening changes
•  Managing Restore and Disaster Recovery with Symantec (Veritas) Netbackup and Legato Networker
•  Developing scripts and tools to make the daily work faster and easier
•  Using version tracker Share Point Base documentation and make step by step documentation about the daily work
•  Patch management and software installation
•  On-call duty
•  Establish contact and organize meetings with German Application responsible people
